My favorite so far has been the samplers of modern memoirs. I look at book lists and must-read lists and it is definitely difficult to sort through and find the memoirs that will appeal to me. With these installments, I can read enough to know if the memoir will appeal to me because, let’s face it, there have to be some that I could love almost as I love McCourt’s Angela’s Ashes.
